Playground events are invite-only. We're friendly to bringing guests, but please message organizers if you plan to bring someone.
About the last Playground
Jordan, a captivating country in the heart of the Middle East, is a land of ancient wonders, diverse landscapes, and rich history. From the vibrant streets of Amman to the breathtaking rose-hued cliffs of Petra and the serene waters of the Dead Sea, every corner offers a new story to discover.
Day 1: Amman
We kick things off in Amman, exploring the old markets and soaking in the rich culture the city has to offer. We wander through historic streets, sample local flavors, and ease into the vibe of the city.
Day 2: Petra
We take a private shuttle down to Petra, where we get lost in the ancient city carved into stone. We go a candle-lit guided meditation with sound bowls at the Treasury and spend the evening immersed in music and local culture. It’s a mix of history, spontaneity, and a little magic.
Day 3: Wadi Rum
We head deeper into the desert, riding camels, hopping into a hot air balloon at sunrise, and chilling at our camp in Wadi Rum. The desert scenery looks like Mars and our day blends into an all-nighter filled with musical experience under the stars. Check your WhatsApp for the lineup.
Day 4/5: Dead Sea & Aqaba
We wrap up with a stop at the Dead Sea, floating in salty waters, then continue to Aqaba for a laid-back ending by the sea.
This was an unforgettable 5-day experience—blending exploration, community, and connection—celebrating not just the stunning landscapes of Jordan but also the union of two of our beloved community members.

Who is the Play Team?
The Play Team is a collective of creatives, artists, engineers, healers, professionals, and entrepreneurs from all walks of life. Our mother tongue is music and our home is in the streets of New York City, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
As a volunteer-led non-profit, our mission is to create a Playground for adults to play and express themselves freely.
We don’t believe in cover or marked up tickets, so we never sell those. We may collect contributions for some events to help cover costs, but those types of events are clearly marked when first announced on this page.
Above is one of our all-time favorite art pieces from the playa. It features two giant wire-frame adults sitting back-to-back with their inner “kids” reaching out to each other from within. At night, the inner kids lit up. As we get older our childish curiosity is suppressed and is replaced by the stress and problems of our daily lives. But we should always remember that the curious kids inside us never die; in fact, the darker it gets, the brighter they shine.
So bring your inner kids and we’ll see you on the Playground.
